Job Description

Tandem’s Life Sciences team partners with the world’s leading biopharma companies to get more patients on therapy faster—leveraging real-time data, AI, and operational rigor to unblock access and demonstrate impact. We work at the intersection of strategy, operations, and client engagement to drive outcomes that matter and make our partners wildly successful. As a Life Sciences Strategy Lead, you will own the post-sale success, growth, and long-term impact of our most important biopharma relationships. These are multi-brand, multi-year partnerships that sit at the center of our business and require a mix of structured problem-solving, cross-functional leadership, and executive communication. You will launch new programs, lead internal and client-facing teams, build scalable systems, and serve as a trusted thought partner to clients and colleagues alike.

Job Responsibility

  • Own the post-sale success of strategic biopharma accounts—including onboarding, pilot execution, performance tracking, and client reporting
  • Act as Tandem’s day-to-day lead across multiple client teams — including commercial, field, access, and data stakeholders
  • Collaborate closely with our product, engineering, data, and delivery teams to coordinate execution and ensure consistent impact for clients
  • Drive retention and expansion within accounts by delivering tangible outcomes, sharing insights, and building trust across functions
  • Design scalable processes for managing multi-workstream accounts with 7–8 figure contract value and help build our client success function as we grow
  • Explore, evaluate, and execute on new opportunities for the company, including strategic partnerships and new products and services
  • Work closely with the rest of our team and CEO to make business decisions as we balance speed of growth and long-term profitability

Requirements

  • 4–10 years in client strategy, delivery operations, partnerships, or customer success—ideally in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
  • Background in life sciences consulting, data platforms, digital health, or pharma-adjacent strategy roles
  • Executive presence and fluency — able to engage senior leaders across functions and drive alignment in ambiguous environments
  • Comfort working with data and technical teams (at minimum the role requires learning SQL and low-code tools)
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Track record of moving quickly, finding shortcuts, and going to unreasonable lengths to deliver on goals
  • High NPS with your former teammates

What we offer

  • Fully covered medical, vision, and dental insurance
  • Memberships for One Medical, Talkspace, Teladoc, and Kindbody
  • Unlimited paid time off (PTO) and 16 weeks of parental leave
  • 401K plan setup, FSA option, commuter benefits, and DashPass
  • Lunch at the office every day and Dinner at the office after 7 pm
  • Offers Equity
