Randstad, partnered with a global leading consulting company, is seeking a high-caliber Business Analyst to join the Tokyo team. Our client is a leading firm within the financial services sector, specializing in insurance solutions. They are currently engaged in the initial implementation of a global SaaS provider's platform for the life insurance market in Japan. You will be instrumental in supporting the implementation of a new life insurance policy administration system. This role requires a strong understanding of business analysis principles within the life insurance domain, with a focus on ensuring a smooth and effective project rollout.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support business analysis activities for a life insurance policy administration system implementation
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements
  • Assist in defining project scope and deliverables
  • Facilitate communication between technical teams and business users
  • Contribute to testing and validation phases of the project
  • Provide support for the initial phase of the project, with potential for expansion

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the life insurance industry
  • Familiarity with Policy Administration Systems
  • Ability to work effectively in either a bilingual (Japanese/English) or Japanese-monolingual capacity
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Nice to have:

Experience with COLI (Corporate Owned Life Insurance)
