Job Description:

Lifeguard position at The Nile Ritz-Carlton Cairo responsible for pool safety, guest assistance, and maintaining a clean pool environment while delivering luxury hospitality service standards.

Job Responsibility:

Use appropriate rescue techniques for swimmers in need
Observe swimming area for dangerous conditions
Promote rules and regulations of recreation facility
Identify unsafe guest activities
Provide assistance to injured guests until EMS arrival
Promote fun and relaxing atmosphere
Obtain, fold, and stack towels
Wash, mop, and clean pool deck
Report accidents and unsafe conditions
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
Welcome and acknowledge all guests
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are professional
Assist individuals with disabilities

Requirements:

CPR Certification
First Aid Certification
Fitness Equipment certification
Any certification or training required by local and state agencies
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
Ability to move at required speed (run, walk, jog)
Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 50 pounds without assistance
Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects
Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
Use ladders, stairs, service ramps
Reach overhead and below knees
