Job Description:

Lifeguard position at JW Marriott Hotel Sanya Dadonghai Bay responsible for pool safety, guest assistance, and maintaining clean pool facilities while providing wonderful hospitality.

Job Responsibility:

Use appropriate rescue techniques for swimmers in need
Observe swimming area for dangerous conditions
Promote rules and regulations of recreation facility
Inform supervisor of unsafe guest activities
Provide assistance to injured guests until EMS arrival
Promote fun and relaxing atmosphere for guests
Obtain, fold, and stack towels
Wash, mop, and clean pool deck
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
Complete safety training and certifications
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to standards
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean
Anticipate and address guests' service needs
Assist individuals with disabilities
Thank guests with genuine appreciation
Speak using clear and professional language
Support all co-workers with dignity and respect
Comply with quality assurance standards
Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines

Requirements:

CPR Certification
First Aid Certification
Fitness Equipment certification
Any certification or training required by local and state agencies
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
Ability to move at required speed (run, walk, jog)
Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
Move, lift, carry, push, pull objects up to 50 pounds without assistance
Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects requiring fine motor skills
Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces
Work up and down ladders, stairs, service ramps
Reach overhead and below knees with bending, twisting, pulling, stooping
