Job Description

The Life Cycle Management Lead is responsible for collaborating with the Product Managers and establishing part status within the Hardware Solutions -Equipment Services (HWS-EQS) portfolio. In this role, you will be the supply chain representative attending Product Planning Group (PPG) and ensuring projects achieve milestones throughout the toll gate process. As part of the life cycle management process, you will be responsible for updating parameters as parts move through phase out and obsolescence. This includes communication to warehouses and finance for materials that are determined to be scrap through the Excess and Obsolete Process.

Job Responsibility

  • Attend PPG and support new project representing service supply chain
  • Review system requirements and inventory position before updating part status and complete workflows to update parts status: Active, Phase-Out, Obsolete
  • Execute the Excess and Obsolete process and communicate to finance P&L impact
  • Provide opportunities to reduce inventory and recognize revenue on parts with excess inventory and ensure parts identified as scrap are executed in warehouses
  • Collaborate with Product Mangers to ensure Excess and Obsolete parts have a decision and path forward

Requirements

  • Leader of the Danaher continuous-improvement culture (DBS)

  • Education in Supply Chain, Materials, Logistics, (or equivalent) to Bachelor’s Degree
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, in English language
  • Ability to travel – list specifics 10% travel, overnight, domestic/international
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
