Job Description:

Analyzing, optimizing and creating financial models for insurance products; Providing thorough analyses of complex data; Performing data analytics for Allianz Group top players.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the production/review of the balance sheet and earnings under IFRS17
  • Contributing to the establishment of IFRS17 end-to-end reporting process
  • Review and comment on global IFRS17 implementation approach in various areas
  • Understand the impact to earnings and balance sheet and provide insight to management
  • Identify the process or areas to change and enhance for IFRS17 implementation, and co-ordinate with various teams to ensure changes are well understood and implemented
  • Communicate the issues/challenges with senior actuaries or stakeholders on time

Requirements:

  • Real experience of validating IFRS17 valuation engine output
  • 2-4 years of experience in life insurance / finance
  • Masters degree in Economics/ Mathematics /Actuarial Sciences
  • Willing to study towards the UK IFoA (certification is a plus)
  • Programming experience in different tools (SAS, C++, Python)
  • Advanced user of MS Office tools (Excel, Word, Access)
  • English
