Robert Half is partnering with a growing insurance firm to identify a highly organized and detail-oriented Licensing Coordinator. This role is responsible for supporting agent and agency licensing compliance, ensuring all state and regulatory requirements are met in a timely and accurate manner. The ideal candidate thrives in a deadline-driven environment and has experience working within regulated industries.

Job Responsibility:

  • Coordinate and maintain insurance producer and agency licensing across multiple states
  • Track license applications, renewals, appointments, and terminations
  • Prepare, submit, and monitor licensing documentation through state insurance departments and the NIPR system
  • Maintain accurate licensing records and databases, ensuring compliance with state regulations
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal teams, carriers, and regulatory agencies regarding licensing matters
  • Monitor regulatory changes and assist with implementing updates to licensing procedures
  • Support audits and compliance reviews by providing required licensing documentation
  • Assist with process improvements to enhance licensing efficiency and accuracy

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of licensing, compliance, or administrative experience (insurance industry preferred)
  • Working knowledge of insurance producer licensing requirements and state regulations
  • Experience with NIPR and state insurance department portals preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and database systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
