Job Description:

Clinical Support Nurse with Minute Clinic working under the leadership of a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to promote evidence-based practice and perform clinical services including patient registration, phlebotomy, vaccine injection, patient assessment, and diagnostic tests

Job Responsibility:

Patient registration and intake
Assisting with wait room management
Phlebotomy and specimen collection services
Vaccine injection
Patient assessment activities including vital signs
Performing diagnostic tests such as EKG, Retinopathy screening and point of care testing (including COVID testing)
Equipment ordering and preparing the clinic
May be required to float to cover other clinics as business needs

Requirements:

LPN/LVN License must be full, active and unrestricted in the State for which you are applying
Experience with documentation of care, medication administration, infection control precautions, assessing patient educational needs, physical assessment, obtaining vital signs, performing point of care testing and care coordination

Nice to have:

Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care or Emergency Room
Experience documenting within an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system such as Epic
Previous phlebotomy experience
