Job Responsibility
Under the supervision of the RN/Licensed Care Provider, responsible for applying the nursing process through the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation of patient care
Provides a caring relationship that facilitates health and healing
Demonstrates clinical competence in performing, assisting and/or documenting tasks and procedures with excellence and quality, per department standards, regulatory guidelines and within scope of practice using age/developmental appropriate approach
Implements plan of care, provides patient and family teaching, follow-up, and discharge (after visit summaries) instructions with excellence and quality, per departmental standards and within scope of practice
Requirements
Associate's Degree or Nursing Diploma from an accredited LVN program
Current California Licensed Vocational Nurse
Current BLS for Healthcare Providers, issued by American Heart Association
PEARS Certification (Issued by American Heart Association) within 6 months of hire
Nice to have
One year of pediatric experience
Bilingual Spanish
