Lead and perform traffic impact studies for data center developments, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal transportation requirements. This is a client-facing role, where you will engage directly with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to deliver high-quality solutions. You will analyze roadway networks, intersections, and access points to assess impacts and propose mitigation strategies.
Job Responsibility:
Lead traffic impact analyses for data center developments, including trip generation, traffic modeling, and capacity analysis
Prepare technical reports for permitting, development approvals, and transportation planning
Design and evaluate roadway improvements, intersection design, and access management using Synchro, SimTraffic, HCS, and VISSIM
Collaborate with civil engineers, transportation planners, clients, and regulatory agencies to develop traffic mitigation strategies
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
Professional Engineer (PE) license (required)
4–10 years of experience in traffic engineering, transportation planning, or traffic impact studies
Proficiency in traffic analysis software: Synchro, SimTraffic, HCS
Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation
Strong communication skills and ability to present findings to clients and agencies
Nice to have:
Experience with data center projects, industrial developments, or large-scale commercial projects (preferred)
