Licensed Structural Engineer - Building Design

• Perform structural design calculations on a diverse range of project types and materials
• Prepare design drawings to be used for construction
• Prepare project specifications to support construction drawings
• Coordinate structural design with architectural and/or other disciplines
• Meet project schedules
• Attend project meetings with clients
• Perform occasional site observations of projects
• Apply knowledge and experience with standard techniques, methods, and procedures to assist with coordination of project design aspects
• Communicate project development and progress with project managers and/or clients
• Enter and maintain project information and client records in the firm’s project management system
• May supervise and provide technical guidance to less experienced staff

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to contribute and work well on a team
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering
• Must be a registered professional engineer
• A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
• Experience utilizing structural design and drafting software packages
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit
