Our team is passionate about making a difference in the lives of those we serve, and we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor to join our mission-driven team. The Licensed Professional Counselor will ideally have a strong background in behavioral health, substance use disorder with a focus on providing support to individuals facing various challenges and dual diagnosis issues. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through their healing journey.
Job Responsibility:
Conduct direct services to include individual and group sessions, utilizing techniques such as applied behavior analysis and crisis intervention
Conduct integrated Behavioral Health Assessments
Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of clients, ensuring comprehensive care
Maintain accurate documentation and records for all counseling sessions in compliance with organizational policies
Engage in research to stay updated on best practices in the field of counseling and behavioral health
Uphold confidentiality standards in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Requirements:
Valid state licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalent credential
Master’s degree in counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field
Proven experience in individual group counseling and behavioral health settings
Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis techniques
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in all client interactions
Nice to have:
Familiarity with crisis intervention strategies and dual diagnosis care
