Job Responsibility:
Offer therapy services for individuals, families, and groups
Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create, and implement a treatment plan, and complete ongoing documentation including session progress notes, continual assessments, treatment plan reviews, and any other contact notes according to company guidelines and protocols
For Full-Time status, clinicians must maintain a caseload of a minimum of 30 client visits per week
Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community
Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals
Be an advocate for your client by coordinating services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed
Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and training
Requirements:
Have a master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university
Have a full Virginia clinical license (LPC, LCSW, etc.) preferred
Experienced in completing psychosocial assessments, treatment plans, and clinical case notes
Be effective in written and verbal communication skills
Be able to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents promptly
Have experience and comfort in working with children ages 5 to 12
Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
Experience with children, adolescents, and young adults
Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
Believe in possibilities
Proficient in the use of standard office technology (computers, e-mail, etc.) and Electronic Health Record systems (experience with Valant a plus)
Ability to pass a background check
Nice to have:
Fluent in a language in addition to English
