Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and outpatient facilities. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in supporting patients with diverse medical needs, ensuring their comfort and well-being while adhering to established protocols and standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including IV infusion and injections
  • Monitor and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and medical histories
  • Assist with patient assessments, including physical examinations and triage
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Educate patients and families on health management, medication administration, and disease prevention
  • Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations

Requirements:

  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New York
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Prior nursing home experience preferred
