The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide holistic Resident-centered care that supports the physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychological well-being of those in our community. Working within your scope of practice, you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans to ensure Residents receive safe, high-quality nursing care. In this leadership role, you will provide clinical guidance and supervision to Continuing Care Assistants, fostering collaboration, accountability, and a culture of excellence within the Home. Job Responsibility:
Provide holistic Resident-centered care that supports the physical, emotional, spiritual, and psychological well-being
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans
Provide clinical guidance and supervision to Continuing Care Assistants
Requirements:
Valid LPN Certification in Nova Scotia, including pharmacology, health assessment, and medication administration
Certification in Safe Resident Handling
Demonstrated leadership and ability to supervise and support care staff
Strong clinical judgement, assessment, and documentation skills
A clear vulnerable sector and criminal record check
