Job Description:

Maxim Healthcare is hiring for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work 1-on-1 with a pediatric and/or adult patient in their home. Weekends, full-time, and part-time positions available for day, evening, and/or night shifts. The general area for this position is located in Shelbyville, KY. Pay is dependent on schedule, experience, and skills required per patient.

Job Responsibility:

  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
  • On each assignment, provide skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
  • Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition
  • Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses

Requirements:

  • Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice
  • Current TB or Chest X-Ray
  • Current BLS card
  • One year of prior professional nursing experience preferred
