Job Description:

Southwest Arkansas Regional Medical Center is in search of an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse for our Gero Psych unit. Southwest Arkansas Regional Medical Center is a hospital dedicated to delivering high-quality healthcare to the Hope, Arkansas community and surrounding areas. We offer a full range of inpatient and outpatient diagnostic services, as well as a 24-hour emergency department, an inpatient geriatric behavioral health unit, physical therapy, inpatient pharmacy services, and a Rural Health Clinic.

Job Responsibility:

Utilizes knowledge, skill and judgment in providing direct and indirect patient care
Participates in patient/family/staff education
Provides safe practices in all aspects of patient care activities
Maintains current knowledge and standards of professional nursing practice
When assigned and according to hospital policy, will perform observation of patients who are at risk for injury secondary to suicide, falls, or other risks
All other duties required by Management

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
