Licensed Mental Health Therapist

• Evaluating and assessing the bio-psycho-social needs of patients
• Provide mental health counseling to children and families
• Assisting in determining the most appropriate level of care for the patient and making appropriate referrals when indicated
• Developing comprehensive treatment plans following policy and procedures
• Providing supervision to clinical staff as needed (LIMHP/LMHP)
• Documentation that reflects progress toward goals as established in the treatment plan
• Actively participates in clinical and peer supervision to ensure quality of care and professional performance standards
• Completing all required documentation within the required time-frame
• Address patient concerns
• Ensure quality of care consistent with Behaven Kids policies, procedures, and relevant accrediting bodies

• Master’s degree from an accredited educational institution in psychology, counseling, social work, or related field (required)
• Licensed Mental Health Practitioner (LMHP) or Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP)
• Must hold the required mental health credentials and licensure as required by the state of Nebraska
• Ability to work in an active environment and lift up to 50 lbs
• High level of discretion and judgment
• Detail-oriented and problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems

Previous experience working with children is preferred
