Minimum of 7+ years of experience in data center design and construction or equivalent experience in critical infrastructure
Proven track record of success in leading and executing complex mechanical engineering projects

Experience on Mechanical Systems and discipline (HVAC, CFDs, Boilers, Chillers, Pumps, CRAC / CRAH Units, Air Handling Units, etc.)
Strong understanding of data center thermal management, power distribution, and fire suppression systems
Experience with commissioning and startup of data center mechanical systems
Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent
LEED AP certification or equivalent in Electrical Engineering

Job Responsibility

Lead the design and development of conceptual and detailed mechanical systems for new and existing data centers
Analyze cooling and air handling requirements to optimize efficiency, reliability, and energy consumption
Select and specify mechanical equipment based on industry best practices, project requirements, and sustainability considerations
Ensure mechanical system design seamlessly integrates with other systems (electrical, IT, etc.) through close collaboration with relevant teams
Oversee the commissioning process for new and upgraded mechanical systems, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets
Develop and execute comprehensive commissioning plans in accordance with industry standards and best practices
Identify and resolve mechanical commissioning issues efficiently to maintain project progress
Collaborate with contractors and internal teams to ensure smooth construction and installation of mechanical components

2-5 years of experience working as a Field Engineer, Technical Support Specialist, Sales Engineer or Application Specialist or equivalent pre or post sales Technical Support in Telecom or Datacom, with a strong technical foundation
Technical knowledge in FTTH Networks and Data Centers
Fluent French & English writing and speaking
Computer skills (MS Windows based: Power point, Word, Excel, Visio)

Document claims thoroughly (observations, photos, data) and share them with the Manager, Quality team, and Product Line Management (PLM)
