Job Description:

One Real Mortgage is seeking a dedicated and passionate Licensed Loan Officer Assistant to join our team. The Licensed Loan Officer Assistant will assist loan originators and applicants in applying for and obtaining mortgage credit. This includes assisting or performing activities like determining the proper loan program, completing the loan application, gathering the necessary paperwork to begin the loan process, and preparing the loan file for submission. The Licensed Loan Originator Assistant communicates with the Loan Originator, applicant, appraiser, title officer, escrow officer, loan processor and underwriter.

Job Responsibility:

  • Takes applications for mortgage credit
  • Prequalifies mortgage loans by examining supporting documentation, estimating credit-worthiness, and calculating repayment risk
  • Offers and negotiates rates and terms of mortgage loans
  • Presents loan offers to consumers, either verbally or in writing, including providing disclosures
  • Protects the Company’s image by keeping mortgage loan information confidential
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in education and training
  • Provides prompt, courteous internal and external customer service
  • Participates and contributes to a positive work environment
  • Interviews applicants to obtain information for loan applications
  • Answers questions about the process of obtaining a home loan
