Job Responsibility:

  • Effective troubleshooting and repair of all equipment
  • Respond to equipment breakdown calls
  • Highly safety conscious with basic knowledge of cutting, welding and fabrication
  • Provide recommendations for continual improvements and maximize efficiencies
  • Maintain a safe work environment, complying with the Company's Health & Safety guidelines
  • Have experience in mechanical, electrical and hydraulic repairs
  • Experienced in completing preventive maintenance scheduled repairs and completing repair orders
  • Basic computers skills and ability to refer to manuals for spare parts and diagnostics
  • Must be able operate heavy duty service vehicle
  • Must be willing and able to work both indoors and outdoors
  • Must be available to work occasional evenings & weekends
  • Able to lift 50lbs
  • Other duties assigned

Requirements:

  • Heavy Equipment Mechanic License
  • Proof of Provincial license from Truck and coach (310T)
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple daily assignments with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work with a team and independently
  • Basic math skills
  • Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills in English
  • Understanding of Schematics and diagrams
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • 5 years experience
  • Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviors
  • Prepare accurate service and repair reports
  • Customer centric with excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail and analytical with excellent relationship management

  • Performs munitions storage actions according to the stringent explosives' standards
