Job Description:

Headed by Lead Aircraft Engineer, the Engineer is considered to be part of the operations group and is responsible for perform or supervise work on aircraft or aircraft components and to promote an open communication with all other related departments personnel.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform maintenance on customer aircraft in complying with Bombardier Policies & Procedures and Aviation Authorities Rules and Regulations
  • Perform inspection, make adjustment and repair, replace components, and correct any malfunction or deficiency with and without power applied to the aircraft
  • Access and re-install aircraft components, which obstruct the performance of the assigned tasks
  • Perform basic mechanical and electrical removals and installation
  • Document work performed per quality procedure manual
  • Perform other tasks cleaning aircraft using approved materials, methods, and equipment, and loads and secures ballast and/or freight as required
  • Assist with fueling/defueling aircraft as required
  • Assist Aircraft Technicians in troubleshooting and repairing of aircraft
  • Assist with repairs on components detached from the aircraft, for example, flaps, ailerons, elevators, rudders, doors, and leading edges
  • Work on aircraft as well as in component shops
  • Assist with complex repairs at on-site and off-site locations
  • Assist other employees in the performance of their duties within area(s) of qualification

Requirements:

  • Minimum Aircraft Maintenance Engineering License with at least 3 years signing off in Singapore
  • CAAS licensed preferred
  • Experience in performing aircraft heavy/line maintenance
  • Hold College/Diploma and/or equivalent academic qualification
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Planning and organizational skills necessary to coordinate workload around multiple assignments
