Headed by Lead Aircraft Engineer, the Certifying Engineer is considered to be part of the operations leadership group and is responsible to perform or supervise work on aircraft or aircraft components and to promote an open communication with all other related departments personnel.
Job Responsibility:
Perform maintenance work on aircraft, engines, avionics, and aircraft components in line with company policies and procedures
Perform inspection, make adjustment and repair, replace components and correct any malfunction or deficiency
Access and re-install aircraft components, which obstruct the performance of the assigned tasks
Perform basic mechanical and electrical removals and installation
Document work performed per quality procedure manual
Perform other tasks cleaning aircraft using approved materials, methods, and equipment
Loads and secures ballast and/or freight as required
Assist with fueling/defueling aircraft as required
Assist Aircraft Technicians in troubleshooting and repairing of aircraft
Assist with repairs on components detached from the aircraft
Work on aircraft as well as in component shops
Assist with complex repairs at on-site and off-site locations
Assist other employees in the performance of their duties within area(s) of qualification
Requirements:
Minimum Aircraft Maintenance Engineering License with at least 3 years signing off in Singapore
CAAS licensed preferred
Experience in performing aircraft heavy/line maintenance
Hold College/Diploma and/or equivalent academic qualification
Interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Planning and organizational skills necessary to coordinate workload around multiple assignments
