Job Description:

Baptist MD Anderson Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Mental Health Counselor is seeking a compassionate and experienced to provide comprehensive psychosocial care to oncology patients and their families in an outpatient setting. This role delivers longitudinal support across the cancer care continuum, including diagnosis, active treatment, survivorship, and end-of-life care. The LCSW/LMHC will play an integral role in supporting patients receiving palliative and supportive care services.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide individual and group therapy to oncology patients and caregivers
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments
  • Deliver crisis intervention and emotional support
  • Facilitate advance care planning discussions
  • Address non-medical barriers to care, including transportation, financial stressors, and access to community resources
  • Collaborate as a key member of the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient-centered care plans
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and program development
  • Provide comprehensive psychosocial care to oncology patients and their families in an outpatient setting
  • Deliver longitudinal support across the cancer care continuum, including diagnosis, active treatment, survivorship, and end-of-life care

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree
  • 3-5 Years Social Work Experience Required
  • 1-2 years Interdisciplinary Teamwork Required
  • 1-2 years Program Development Required
  • 1-2 years Palliative Care Experience Required
  • 1-2 years Experience with Acute/Chronic Illnesses Required
  • 1-2 years Oncology Experience Required
  • Licensed Mental Health Counselor Required
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker Required
  • A valid Florida LMHC/LCSW is required for this role, registered interns will not be considered
