Requirements

BS in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
EIT (with ability to obtain PE in state applying for) or PE license in state applying for
1 or more years of experience in civil site design of land development projects such as residential subdivisions, multi-family developments, commercial/retail, industrial, institutional and municipal
Knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D software
Knowledge of water and stormwater modeling

Job Responsibility

Apply engineering principles to create land plans and conceptual layouts
Design land development projects to include site layout, grading, utilities and erosion control
Prepare all necessary calculations
Prepare technical reports and models
Coordinate projects with Owner/Client and other disciplines as necessary to produce the project
Identify and apply for all regulatory permits for local, state, and federal regulations and construction requirements
Produce project plans and specifications
Manage and communicate project schedule to achieve project milestones and deliverables
Attend public and client meetings
Serve as primary point of contact and project liaison to assist with the resolution of construction issues and conduct site observations
