Job Description

We are looking for a licensed attorney to join our civil litigation team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role offers the opportunity to manage a variety of litigation matters, contribute to case strategy, and support clients through all phases of the legal process. The ideal candidate brings strong courtroom preparation skills, confidence in deposition practice, and the ability to draft persuasive motions with precision.

Job Responsibility

  • Handle civil litigation matters from initial case assessment through resolution, maintaining strong organization and attention to deadlines
  • Prepare for and conduct depositions, including witness examination, factual development, and follow-up analysis
  • Draft, revise, and file motions and other litigation documents that are clear, well-supported, and strategically effective
  • Collaborate with attorneys, clients, and support staff to develop case strategy and ensure efficient matter progression
  • Perform legal research and evaluate case law to strengthen arguments and inform litigation decisions
  • Represent clients in hearings, conferences, and other case-related proceedings as needed
  • Maintain accurate case documentation and monitor procedural requirements throughout the litigation lifecycle

Requirements

  • Active license to practice law in good standing
  • Demonstrated experience handling civil litigation matters
  • Proven ability to take and defend depositions effectively
  • Strong drafting skills with experience preparing motions and related court filings
  • Solid understanding of litigation procedure, deadlines, and case management practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple matters independently while working collaboratively with a legal team
