The role and responsibility of a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) is to provide Airbus Helicopters (AH) worldwide customers with Technical Assistance for their helicopter fleets. The LAME are mechanical: B1.3 and avionic: B2 specialists type rated on Airbus Helicopters products preferably on H225. The LAME holds an European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Part 66 license in order to provide technical support.
Job Responsibility:
Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks in accordance with applicable and approved documentation
Rectification of all defects reported
Ensure zero defect post inspection/retrofit
Provide field services support locally
Carry out on-the-job training of customer’s personnel, when requested
Answer to questions by on-site customers related to the performance of the maintenance tasks
Give feedback in the set-up of the maintenance planning
Assist customer’s maintenance personnel in understanding and in the use of technical publications, work report & work order from Part M organization
Ensure, when applicable, that quality regulations are met during maintenance activities
Be based in the customer's facility for a minimum of 9 months
Requirements:
Diploma in Engineering or related
At least 10 years or more working experience on Airbus Helicopters product
Must possess an EASA Part 66 License with Airbus Helicopters Type Rating
Human Factor / Part 145 / Foreign Object Debris training valid currency
