Job Description:

Come and work in an integral role within the County’s Library service, managing five community-focused libraries in Hucclecote, Longlevens, Matson, Quedgeley and Tuffley.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure the day-to-day running of five community-focused libraries (Hucclecote, Longlevens, Matson, Quedgeley, Tuffley)
  • Lead and develop a skilled team of Library Assistants to deliver a high-quality service
  • Deliver an excellent user experience
  • Work closely with partners and within local communities to deliver and support a varied range of activities and events
  • Oversee daily operations, staff deployment and service delivery across all five libraries
  • Manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
  • Travel within Gloucestershire
  • Some lone working
  • Flexibility in working hours, including evenings and alternate Saturdays
