The City of Chandler Community Services Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as a Library Administrator – Basha Library. The position is scheduled to work 40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends on a rotational basis with branch staff.
Job Responsibility:
Collaboratively engage as a critical member of the library leadership team
Supervise and oversee daily library branch operations
Coordinate assigned library services and ensures the provision of excellent services to library patrons
Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in library science or related Degree
5 years of general library experience with 1 year of supervisory experience
A valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record
Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work
Nice to have:
Master’s degree in library science or related Degree
3 years of department/branch leadership experience in a public library
Experience in youth, teen and adult library programming or education
