Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure the library is a safe, quiet, and welcoming space
  • Oversee daily operations: cataloguing, shelving, and organising materials
  • Maintain an up-to-date collection of books, digital resources, and multimedia
  • Curate a diverse, relevant collection within budget
  • Integrate new educational trends and technologies
  • Lead whole-school reading initiatives (e.g. World Book Day)
  • Promote reading through clubs, challenges, and author visits
  • Work with teachers to align library use with curriculum goals
  • Contribute to school events and parent-teacher meetings
  • Engage parents in supporting library activities
