Job Description:

Based in Milan and reporting directly to the Head of Liability for Large segment in Southern Europe, you will be in charge of developing and executing the strategy for Liability, including EIL (Environmental). With strong ties to the Practice Group Leaders, as well as to the Regional Allianz Commercial CUO, you will support the Local strategy to ensure the successful achievement of the AZ Commercial targets. You will be contact person for brokers and clients working with the Liability team, jointly with the Distribution team, with close contact with the other countries of the Southern Region (Greece and Turkey).

Job Responsibility:

Develop and execute the Liability Line of Business (LoB) local strategy and proactively support the development of the global LoB strategy
Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers and clients
Ownership of large accounts/clients and ultimate responsibility for accounts
Proactively support acquisition of new business and retention of existing business
Coordinate with local Distribution to drive successful execution of strategic plan
Communicate local LoB strategy externally in Italy together with Market Contacts and Distribution

Requirements:

Master's degree in Law, Business or Engineering
Proven experience (e.g. 5 years) underwriting profitable Liability business for corporate clients
Ability to assess risks, coverages, terms and conditions of a (potential) insurance placement and to translate this into an insurance offer
Deep knowledge of market features and challenges
Experience in driving underwriting projects
Entrepreneurial mindset and strong communication skills
Able to work in an international matrix organization
Fluent in Italian and English
