Job Description:

We are looking for a LGV Driver (Class 1) to join our team in Shorncote. This is a full-time, permanent role with a competitive salary and a fantastic benefits package. As our LGV Driver (Class 1), you’ll be playing a key part in transporting and delivering essential materials safely, efficiently and professionally. We operate a modern fleet of articulated, 4-wheel, and 8-wheel rigid vehicles, transporting aggregates, soils and site clearance materials across the region.

Job Responsibility:

  • Safely operating Class 1 articulated vehicles and rigid vehicles (4 & 8 wheel) as required
  • Transporting aggregates, soils, and site clearance materials to and from customer sites
  • Completing daily vehicle safety checks and reporting any issues promptly
  • Completing relevant paperwork, transaction documents, and delivery notes accurately

Requirements:

  • A valid Class 1 LGV licence (C+E), CPC & Digi Tacho
  • A strong commitment to safety and compliance
  • Reliable, self-motivated and able to meet agreed daily targets
  • Good communication skills and a positive approach to teamwork

  • Previous Tipper experience
