Job Description:

Bradfords Building Supplies Ltd is looking for an LGV Driver to join the team at the Avonmouth Branch. The role involves multi-drop deliveries, ensuring exceptional customer service, health and safety compliance, and supporting the sales team.

Job Responsibility:

Carry out multi-drop deliveries to customers
Ensure the customer receives exceptional service every time
Guarantee Health and Safety compliance
Remain sales and results focused
Be the friendly face of the business ensuring customer deliveries are carried out on time, in full
Ensure vehicle is loaded safely
Be responsible for the load while adhering to road transport and traffic legislation standards
Find site leads and provide feedback from the customers back to the branch sales team
Provide support to the branch sales team when necessary

Requirements:

Full Class C UK Driving Licence

Report accidents, breakdowns, and near misses promptly, including any damage, and complete necessary documentation
Conduct daily cleaning and maintenance, including power mechanisms and weekly weighbridge/sump cleaning, using PPE
Check and maintain fuel, oil, and water levels at the start and end of each shift
Ensure vehicle is roadworthy and emptied before parking, or report remaining waste
Deposit waste and recyclables at designated facilities, using the weighbridge when needed
