Requirements
Five (5) years of experience within the last ten (10) years in the assessment, repair, and maintenance of tanks, voids, spaces/compartments, and topside areas on US Navy ships
Three (3) years of specialized hands-on experience working and inspecting ship tanks, voids, and spaces/compartments
Demonstrated knowledge of welding requirements as defined in MIL Standard 1689 & IAW MRCs G1N5 & G1N6
Demonstrated knowledge regarding sheet metal, preservation, insulation, piping, and electrical systems on US Navy Ships
Must show technical experience in the field of preservation and/or structural/coatings assessments
Must have an active secret US government clearance. Note: US citizenship is required to maintain a secret clearance
Must be self-motivated, customer-oriented, and possess strong analytical and communication (oral and written) skills
