The L3 UX/UI Designer is responsible for designing seamless and visually engaging user experiences and user interfaces for digital products. This role requires a blend of creativity, design expertise, and an understanding of user-centered design principles to craft intuitive, effective, and aesthetically pleasing solutions. The UX/UI Designer will work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the user experience is consistent across all platforms and aligns with business goals. This position involves user research, wireframing, prototyping, high-fidelity UI design, and usability testing, with a focus on creating positive and impactful experiences for users
Job Responsibility
Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, usability tests, and competitor analysis to gather insights about user needs and behaviors
Create user personas, user journeys, and experience flows to understand user goals, pain points, and interactions
Design intuitive, user-centered interfaces that meet user needs and enhance user satisfaction, focusing on simplicity, efficiency, and accessibility
Collaborate with product managers and developers to translate business requirements into user experience designs that are technically feasible and meet business objectives
Develop visually engaging and responsive user interface designs, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and design principles
Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to communicate design concepts effectively to stakeholders and development teams
Ensure that UI elements are visually cohesive, with a focus on typography, color theory, layout, and iconography to create a polished design
Design mobile-first and cross-platform user interfaces, ensuring compatibility and responsive designs across different devices and screen sizes
Create interactive Figma prototypes to validate design concepts and support collaboration with product and engineering teams
Conduct usability testing on prototypes to validate designs, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement
Iterate on designs based on feedback from usability tests, stakeholders, and user reviews, making improvements to optimize the user experience
Work closely with product managers, developers, and other team members to ensure design concepts are feasible and align with technical constraints
Participate in design reviews, presenting design ideas and receiving feedback from cross-functional teams to refine concepts and improve user experiences
Provide design specifications and assets to development teams, ensuring designs are accurately translated into the final product
Actively engage with stakeholders and other team members to ensure that design decisions are aligned with business goals and product requirements
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of design systems, style guides, and pattern libraries to ensure consistency across all products and platforms
Document design decisions, guidelines, and user flows to provide clear communication and reference for the team
Continuously evolve and refine design systems, ensuring that they adapt to new product requirements, branding, and user needs
Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging design technologies to bring innovative solutions to the design process
Participate in design workshops, conferences, and other learning opportunities to continue developing your skills and expertise
Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to junior designers, supporting their growth and development within the team
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
3+ years of experience as a UX/UI Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, including both UX and UI work
Expert‑level proficiency in Figma as the primary tool for end‑to‑end product design, prototyping, and team collaboration
Experience with designing responsive and mobile-first web applications, and familiarity with modern web technologies (e.g., HTML5, CSS, JavaScript frameworks)
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
Solid understanding of usability principles, accessibility standards (WCAG), and best practices
Ability to create wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity designs, and effectively communicate design ideas to stakeholders and development teams
Strong problem-solving skills, with an ability to design solutions that balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain design concepts clearly to non-design stakeholders
Nice to have
Experience with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) or familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies
Working knowledge of motion and interaction design principles, with the ability to use animation to support clarity and usability in digital products
Experience collaborating with developers using Figma‑based design handoff practices and shared design artefacts to support efficient delivery
Experience working closely with cross‑functional teams—including product, engineering, and business stakeholders—within iterative delivery environments
Experience designing enterprise‑level, data‑driven digital products, including support for complex workflows and user needs
Working knowledge of user research techniques, such as user interviews, usability testing, and analysis of product usage data to inform design decisions
