Job Description:

Randstad Education is seeking an exceptional Teaching Assistant to join our team at an amazing School in Hemel Hempstead. This is a full time role available to start soon. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting the education and development of children.

Job Responsibility:

  • Working with small groups and 1:1
  • Assisting pupils with academic tasks
  • provide high quality teaching that will enable pupils to make progress not just academically, but socially and emotionally
  • Safeguarding all children
  • Adhering to the curriculum, including up to date changes in the structure
  • Ability to communicate with and encourage children with additional needs
  • Collaborating with individuals or groups both inside and outside the classroom
  • Tailoring support to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Ensuring the physical, social, and emotional well-being of children
  • Creating a stimulating learning environment

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service
  • Relevant SEN classroom experience
  • Must be able to provide 2 relevant references
  • Commitment, flexibility and enthusiasm
  • NVQ level 2 in children
  • NVQ level 3
