Job Description

Required from September 2026, the Governors of Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School wish to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated, dedicated and caring Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our happy and hardworking team. The role is initially a one year fixed term contract with an extension possible. The successful candidate will work 30 hours per week, 08:30 to 15:30 Monday to Friday.

Job Responsibility

  • Work with groups of children within the class setting
  • Deliver learning programmes tailored to individual pupil's needs
  • Teach whole classes and covering short-term teacher absence under direction and instruction of the class teacher

Requirements

  • Holds a Level 3 qualification (or equivalent)
  • Experience of working in both Key Stages would be an advantage but is not essential
  • Preferably has experience supporting children with SEND
