Job Responsibility:
Key Person Duties: Act as a Key Person for a group of children, building strong relationships with families
Planning & Delivery: Design and implement age-appropriate activities that challenge and inspire
Assessment: Complete high-quality observations and maintain up-to-date learning journals
Safety & Care: Ensure the highest standards of safety, hygiene, and physical care are maintained
Mentorship: Support and model best practices for Nursery Assistants and Trainees
Requirements:
Qualifications: A full and relevant Level 3 (or higher) qualification in Early Years/Childcare
Experience: Proven experience working within an early years setting, with a strong understanding of the EYFS framework
Skills: Excellent communication skills (with children, parents, and colleagues) and the ability to maintain accurate developmental records
Mindset: A positive "can-do" attitude and a genuine passion for early childhood education
Commitment: An unwavering dedication to safeguarding and child protection protocols
