Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our team. Working with children aged 0-5, you will use your expertise in early child development to create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced or newly qualified practitioner looking to thrive in a supportive and dynamic setting.

Job Responsibility

  • Oversee a designated group of children, tracking their development, updating learning journals, and writing progress reports
  • Plan and implement creative, age-appropriate, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS
  • Provide excellent general care, supervision, and support with personal care and mealtime routines
  • Maintain open, professional communication with parents and carers to provide daily feedback on their child's day
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and secure environment, strictly adhering to health and safety and safeguarding policies

Requirements

  • Holds a full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (e.g., NVQ Level 3, CACHE Level 3, or equivalent)
  • A strong understanding of the EYFS statutory framework, child development, and observation/assessment processes
  • Excellent communication skills, strong team-working abilities, and a positive, solution-focused attitude
  • Fully dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, with a robust understanding of safeguarding procedures
