Previous experience working with children
Appropriate Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent
Confident approach to working with children
Working knowledge of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) or working with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) is desirable

Interest in caring for, or working with children aged 0-5
A confident communicator with excellent listening skills
A passion for delivering fun and creative activities suitable for early education

Job Responsibility

Plan and deliver a range of age appropriate activities focusing on each individual child’s interests
Maintain the children’s development, progress & observation records with the support of the Room Leader
To develop and maintain good relationships and communications with parents/guardians to fully integrate the children into the Nursery
Work with all staff in promoting good staff practices
