Job Responsibility
Oversee a designated group of children, tracking their development, updating learning journals, and writing progress reports
Plan and implement creative, age-appropriate, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS
Provide excellent general care, supervision, and support with personal care and mealtime routines
Maintain open, professional communication with parents and carers to provide daily feedback on their child's day
Ensure a clean, safe, and secure environment, strictly adhering to health and safety and safeguarding policies
Requirements
Holds a full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (e.g., NVQ Level 3, CACHE Level 3, or equivalent)
A strong understanding of the EYFS statutory framework, child development, and observation/assessment processes
Excellent communication skills, strong team-working abilities, and a positive, solution-focused attitude
Fully dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, with a robust understanding of safeguarding procedures
