You'll join our Vodafone Business Security Enhanced (VBSE) team, which delivers cyber security and secure technology solutions that help government, public sector, defence, and critical national infrastructure stay resilient, connected, and safeguarded against evolving threats. As an IT Support apprentice, you’ll work with the experts who keep VodafoneThree’s most sensitive environments running safely and seamlessly. You’ll help keep our technology resilient, support colleagues across the business, and play your part in protecting the systems that power our secure services. Alongside your day-to-day role, you’ll study toward a Level 3 Information Communications Technician apprenticeship.
Job Responsibility:
Deliver confident, customer‑focused 1st and 2nd line IT support
Set up and roll out new equipment
Maintain and upgrade systems
Strengthen security by applying essential patches and managing user accounts
Get hands‑on with server builds and configuration
Support the delivery of impactful IT projects
Audit systems and assets
Requirements:
Passion for technology and helping others
Motivated to learn fast and keep up with the ever‑evolving ICT landscape
Great at staying organised, juggling tasks, setting priorities, and planning work
Must hold a minimum of 5 GCSEs including English & Maths at Grade 4/C or above by September 2026
Must meet UK Government apprenticeship levy funding eligibility requirements
Ability to obtain and hold UK Security Check (SC) clearance
