Job Description:

Justteachers is seeking a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant in EYFS to join a vibrant primary School in Bury to cover on a long-term basis. The school has a small SEND unit for the early years children where you will be placed for most of the school day. The position will start at Easter and will be on a long term basis until the Summer.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support a number of children in the SEND unit who have profound communication needs and Autism
  • Contribute to the wider school community and uphold the school’s values
  • Deliver high-quality lessons in line with the EYFS curriculum

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications or experience working with non verbal children
  • Proven experience supporting EYFS
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS national curriculum
  • Two education or school-based references
  • Legal right to work in the UK
