Level 2 Teaching Assistant

• Working in a 1:1 role or with small groups supporting children with medical and specific SEND needs, under the direction/instruction of the class teacher
• Managing medical needs and delivering learning programmes tailored to the child’s individual needs, ensuring full inclusion and integration into the class and the activities undertaken

• Will fully support and promote the Catholic ethos of our school
• Has a nurturing, enthusiastic manner with excellent communication skills
• Is positive, calm, and committed to helping children achieve their best
• Demonstrates effective behaviour management and a caring approach
• Works well as part of a collaborative and flexible team
• Holds a Level 2 qualification (or equivalent)
• Preferably has experience supporting children with SEND
• Uses initiative while also responding well to direction from the class teacher
• Brings a good sense of humour and a positive attitude to school life
