Job Responsibility:
Curriculum Adaptation: adjust learning activities and reinforce concepts in line with individual student profiles
Behavioural Leadership: support positive behaviour through a tailored, solution-focused approach
Collaborative Practice: act as a key link between the Class Teacher, parents, and external professionals
Mentorship: contribute to the community life of the school and engage in reflective practice
Requirements:
Level 2 award (or higher) in supporting teaching and learning
GCSE Maths and English
Previous experience within a relevant SEND provision
Firm grasp of Safeguarding, PREVENT, and the principles of promoting independence in an inclusive setting
Flexible, solution-focused, and capable of meeting the physical demands of an active SEND environment
Nice to have:
Proactive, "can-do" mindset
Deep understanding of the complexities of Autism and SEND
