Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lending Operations Senior Manager for the Commercial Collateral Operations / Lein Management group. This role involves managing teams responsible for loan processing, documentation, monitoring, servicing, and underwriting activities while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and driving operational efficiency.

Job Responsibility:

Manage and develop large Loan Production, Loan Servicing, and Commercial or Real Estate Construction Loan teams responsible for loan processing, documentation, pre-closing or closing tasks, loan monitoring, loan servicing, or underwriting activities
Engage and influence stakeholders, internal partners, and peers associated with the Lending Operations functional area
Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development within Lending Operations functional area
Participate in the formulation and implementation of new and revised systems, policies, and guidelines
Oversee implementation of practices to ensure compliance with Wells Fargo legal, investor, regulatory, or business policies
Determine appropriate strategies and actions of Lending Operations team to meet moderate to high risk deliverables
Interpret and develop policies and procedures for meeting compliance, risk management, and quality standards
Collaborate with and influence all levels of professionals, including experienced managers
Interact with external customers throughout the conducting of loan processing and liquidations evaluation
Provide quality customer service
Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Lending Operations
Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

Requirements:

6+ years of Transactions and Processing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education
3+ years of management or leadership experience

Nice to have:

Experience in Commercial Banking Operations
Prior experience in leading processing and loan originations teams
Proven track record of managing and developing processing and loan origination teams in a high-volume environment
Experience and knowledge of such systems as, Loan IQ, nCino and the use of workflow tools
Demonstrated ability to drive operational efficiency and process transformation within lending operations, utilizing data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement methodologies
Experience driving transformation initiatives, including process and system improvements for new product launches
Ability to collaborate effectively with Product teams to establish and scale new lending products
Strong background in risk mitigation, compliance, and regulatory requirements within lending operations
Dedicated to delivering outstanding customer experiences with a strong commitment to excellence in all facets of lending operations
Strong understanding of how to deliver and scale on secured lending products
Educated on capabilities of AI and its uses in building efficiencies in processes and systems
