Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lending Operations Manager within Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) Lending Operations as part of Transactions & Processing division. This role manages loan processing, documentation, pre-closing or closing tasks, loan monitoring, loan servicing, or underwriting activities.

Job Responsibility:

Manage activities of Loan Production, Loan Servicing, Loan Trade Settlement, Assignment Execution and Commercial or Real Estate Construction Loan team
Engage stakeholders and internal partners associated with Lending Operations
Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development
Participate in formulation and implementation of new and revised systems, policies, and guidelines
Oversee implementation of compliance practices
Make credit decisions and resolve issues regarding performance
Interpret and develop policies and procedures
Collaborate and consult with Lending Operations peers and managers
Manage allocation of people and financial resources
Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports
Assist in hiring talent

Requirements:

4+ years of Transactions and Processing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, education
2+ years of Leadership experience
Loan IQ experience
Experience with Syndication/Participation, Trade Services, and Loan Originations
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to effectively resolve problems and conflicts at the immediate and root-cause levels
Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
Sound critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to embrace and adapt to change
Good business communication skills
Delivers extraordinary and superior customer service
