Job Responsibility

  • Support pipeline oversight and file assignment by partnering with Lending Operations Managers to ensure consistent customer experience and operational efficiency
  • Apply knowledge of lending systems and procedures to guide team members and resolve routine and low to moderately complex issues
  • Present recommendations for process improvements and assist in performance and risk data analysis, identifying trends as well as contributing to root cause analysis
  • Participate in special projects and reporting efforts while exercising some independent judgement, including daily reporting, and audit support
  • Provide information, input and feedback to functional colleagues, internal partners and stakeholders to enhance team performance and functional area deliverables
  • This LO position has customer contact and job duties which may include needs assessing and referring those customers interested in a dwelling secured product to a SAFE team member

Requirements

3+ years of loan processing, closing, or underwriting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Nice to have

  • Strong knowledge of home loan mortgage processing, lending systems, and operational workflows
  • Experience using Wells Fargo's CORE loan origination system
  • Proven ability to lead initiatives or influence within a team environment
  • Experience using Tableau
  • Demonstrated experience in creating, managing, and interpreting operational and performance reporting (daily, weekly, monthly)
  • Ability to assess issues, make quick decisions, implement solutions, and influence change
  • Familiarity with pipeline reporting, SLA tracking, and loan-level metrics within lending environments
  • Experience leading or supporting risk oversight, compliance, and control functions in a regulated environment
