Job Description:

As one of the first dedicated Analysts focused on Lenders data, you’ll play a pivotal role in our Private Equity Intelligence group, focusing on enhancing and growing the data within the global lenders product.

Job Responsibility:

  • Be an integral part of a team that is in the formation phase focused on Lenders data within the Private Equity Intelligence group of Gain.pro
  • Contribute to developing and maintaining the global lenders product on the Gain.pro platform
  • Research, analyze, and regularly audit lender profiles covering their credits and debt details, eventually expanding further into strategies, fund-level data, and other financial instruments to ensure accuracy, recency and completeness
  • Eventually, provide support in mapping lender portfolio/credits to different strategies and validate asset-fund level linking
  • Work in close cooperation with team members to support value added data projects for research and strategy purposes
  • Collaborate with the Tech team to support with product improvements
  • Utilise knowledge and subject matter expertise to support Junior Analysts with queries

Requirements:

  • Strong academic track record in finance, economics, business, or a quantitative discipline
  • 2-3 years of experience in private credit, private equity or financial research, preferably in shared services, financial data platforms, or consulting/IBD research teams
  • A solid understanding of private markets, credit research and Business Development Companies (BDCs) is a plus
  • Comfortable working in structured data environments (e.g., CMS, Google Sheets) with high attention to detail
  • Collaborative mindset - comfortable working with team members to achieve team targets and complete other project related initiatives
