We’re recruiting for a Lender Account Executive to join us. We’re offering a competitive base salary. We’re looking for a proactive, relationship‑focused Lender Account Executive to join our L&G Mortgage Services team. You’ll help drive the growth of our Mortgage Club and Ignite platform by developing strong partnerships across the UK mortgage market. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building networks, shaping propositions, and influencing positive outcomes for partners and customers. Job Responsibility:

  • Managing and developing a portfolio of lender and third‑party relationships to support growth across LGMS
  • Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of prospects and supporting the delivery of pitches across the sales lifecycle
  • Tailoring propositions by understanding partner needs, identifying challenges and creating innovative solutions
  • Strengthening existing partnerships by maintaining business plans, SLAs and contractual agreements that support LGMS objectives
  • Supporting governance processes, contributing to internal committees and ensuring partner activity aligns with LGMS strategy
  • Seeking and sharing customer feedback to improve products, literature, administration and sales processes
  • Collaborating with internal teams to identify opportunities and develop propositions that enhance partner engagement
  • Leveraging internal and external networks to maximise commercial opportunities and deepen relationships

Requirements:

  • Experience in account management or partnership development, ideally within the UK mortgage or financial services market
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, with confidence presenting in‑person and virtually
  • Ability to interpret MI and financial data to support decision‑making and build strong business cases
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify opportunities and tailor solutions
  • Experience developing and negotiating commercial agreements
  • Ability to work inclusively with a variety of stakeholders and build productive internal networks
  • Achievement‑driven mindset with the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast‑paced environment
  • CeMAP (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential
